How to Delete Your PrepMate Account

We respect your privacy and provide a simple, secure way to delete your account and all associated personal data.

You can initiate deletion directly from the PrepMate mobile application:

  1. Open the PrepMate app and log in if you haven't already.
  2. Go to the Status/Profile tab (gear icon in the top right corner).
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of your profile settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warnings carefully. You will see a confirmation warning detailing the permanent nature of the deletion.
  6. Type DELETE (or the prompted text) and confirm.
  7. Your account will be deleted instantly from our systems.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Web/Email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot log in, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

  • Contact Email: nick@forprepssake.com
  • Subject: PrepMate Account Deletion Request
  • Required Details: Please email us from the registered email address of the account you wish to delete, stating your request.
  • Processing Time: Email deletion requests are processed manually within 7 business days. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

What Data Is Deleted?

When you delete your account (either in-app or via request), the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Your user profile and credentials (email, name, preferences).
  • All inventory items, quantities, expiry dates, and categories.
  • All registered vehicles and associated emergency kits.
  • All customized locations, shopping lists, and reminders.
  • All score history snapshots and AI-generated suggestions.

If you are the owner of a Household group, deleting your account will remove your access. If you are the sole member, the household and all its contents will be fully deleted.

WARNING

Active Subscriptions: Deleting your PrepMate account does not automatically cancel active paid subscriptions managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You must cancel your subscription manually in your mobile device's subscription settings to prevent future billing.
